Mana'iche (with halloumi or mozzarella)
Ingredients
2 thin rectangular pizza pasta (or homemade dough)
Zâatar (mixture of thyme, sesame seeds and spices)
olive oil
halloumi or mozarelle
Use a glass to cut small pizza (10 cm). Flatten the dough with a rolling pin.
Place the pizza on baking paper on a baking tray
Put a little cheese in the center of each pizza
Cover each pizza with a second round of dough. Press the edges well.
Prepare a zâatar mixture with olive oil to make a paste.
Put a little bit of paste on each pizza and spread (with your fingers!)
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 200 ° C (390F)
Enjoy warm. Traditionally served at breakfast in Lebanon. Will keep for several days in the fridge.
